Registering Quick Heal antivirus through SMS

Note: Currently, the Registration through SMS facility is available to the subscribers based in India only.

Installation from the setup file could not be completed since your device is not connected to the Internet. Worry not! We got you covered.

To register Quick Heal antivirus through SMS, follow these steps:

1. Double-click the setup file to start the installation.

   The Welcome page appears. Accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy to proceed.

2. Click the Let’s Start button.

   Downloading and installation of the software starts.

   Installation Location and disk space requirement screen appears.

   Note: If Quick Heal detects any incompatible program such as another Antivirus, Quick Heal will prompt you to uninstall that software and restart the system.

3. Click Next.

   When the installation completes, since your device is not connected to the Internet the Offline Registration options appear with 2 options.

   • SMS Registration
   • Register Offline.

4. Click SMS Registration. The SMS Registration requirements page appears.

5. Enter the Product Key, Dealer Code, and BE Number. All asterisk fields are mandatory to fill. Click Next.

6. On the next screen, enter your Name, Email Address, Contact Number, Country, State, and City. Click Next.

7. A Set Up Security Password screen appears. This feature enables you to restrict unauthorized access to the Quick Heal Total Security settings, ensuring that your security remains intact. Follow the defined password rules to set your password, then click Next to proceed.

Note:

To modify any of your antivirus settings, you must first enter this password. Therefore, it is recommended that you remember it for future reference.
This change is applicable to Quick Heal v25.2 users and later versions.

For Dealers/Bag Engineers, the Skip for Now option is available. If they proceed without configuring the password, you need to configure it later by going to More > Settings > Password Management.

8. A summary of the information that you entered appears. Click Next.

   SMS Registration is a 2-step process:

   Step 1: You will get to see a unique code with a mobile number on screen. Type the code and send it as an SMS to the mobile number displayed on the screen. Once successful SMS registration is done, you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number that contains your activation code.

   Step 2: Type in this activation code in the text box displayed and click Activate. Quick Heal antivirus will be successfully activated on your device.

9. Click Launch Quick Heal to launch Quick Heal.
