You can uninstall existing antifraud software before installing Quick Heal or during installation process of Quick Heal.

1. Uninstallation of existing antifraud software before installation of Quick Heal

There are two ways to uninstall the existing antifraud software before installation of Quick Heal:

    a. Uninstall through the Start Menu

    To uninstall an antifraud software program through the Start Menu, follow these steps:

    1. Click the Start button in the bottom-left corner of your device.
    2. Browse through the list of installed programs until you find the antifraud software you wish to uninstall.
    3. After you locate the antifraud software, select, and click it.
    4. Look for the Uninstall option, in the program's submenu.
    5. Click Uninstall option for the antifraud program.
    6. Follow the instructions that appear during the uninstallation process.
    7. Wait for the uninstallation process to complete. This may take a few moments.

      After the process is finished, the antifraud software program will be successfully uninstalled from your computer.

    Note: The actual steps may vary depending upon the antifraud software and the Windows version.

    b. Uninstall through Add or Remove programs

    To uninstall an antifraud program through the Add or Remove Programs feature in Control Panel, follow these steps:

    1. Open Control Panel on your device.
    2. You can access Control Panel on the bottom left of your device by entering 'Control Panel' in the search box.
    3. Click Open in the Control Panel submenu.
    4. In the Control Panel window, click Programs.
    5. Under Programs, click Programs and Features.
    6. A list of installed programs appears. Locate the antifraud software you want to uninstall.
    7. Select the antifraud software.
    8. Click Uninstall or Remove button at the top of the program list or in the toolbar to start the uninstallation process.
    9. Follow the instructions that appear during the uninstallation process. These may include confirmation messages or prompts for additional actions.
    10. Wait for the uninstallation process to complete. This may take a few moments.

      After the process is finished, the antifraud software will be successfully uninstalled from your computer.

2. Uninstallation of existing antifraud software during installation process of Quick Heal

  1. During installation of Quick Heal if existing antifraud software is detected, Quick Heal AntiFraud shows ‘Incompatible Program Detected’ message.
  2. Click Uninstall.

    You are redirected to the installation/uninstallation screen of the existing antifraud software.

  3. Click UNINSTALL on the existing antifraud software screen.
  4. A message box will be displayed confirming you to proceed with the uninstallation.
  5. Click Yes to proceed.
  6. Follow the instructions on the uninstallation screen to uninstall the existing antifraud software and click Continue.

  7. The success prompt for uninstallation is displayed with two options. Select the following option as required:
    • Restart Computer: Save and close any other open programs on device and restart computer to complete the installation process of Quick Heal.
    • Restart Later: Select this option if you have other programs open and you wish to continue with the installation process later.
  8. On device restart, Quick Heal will be installed.

3. Uninstalling Quick Heal AntiFraud

Removing Quick Heal AntiFraud may expose your system to cyber threats. However, you can uninstall Quick Heal AntiFraud in the following way:

  1. Select Start > Programs > Quick Heal AntiFraud > Uninstall Quick Heal AntiFraud.
    • Remove Quick Heal and keep reports – If you select this option, Quick Heal will save license information, and reports in a repository on your computer, so that these can be used during reinstallation.
    • Remove Quick Heal completely – If you select this option, Quick Heal will be completely removed from your computer.
  2. Select one of the options and click Next to continue with the uninstallation.
    If you have password-protected Quick Heal AntiFraud, an authentication screen appears.
  3. Enter your password and click OK.
  4. Click Yes on the confirmation screen to proceed with the uninstallation.
    A feedback form appears. Your feedback is valuable to us and it helps us improve product quality.
  5. Provide the feedback as applicable and click Submit.
    The uninstallation process is initiated.

Note: Note down the product key for future reference. You can save your product key information by clicking Save to file. Restart of your device is recommended after Quick Heal AntiFraud uninstallation. To restart click Restart Now, or click Restart Later to continue working on the system and restart after some time.
