Registration, Re-activation, Renewal
Registration
Quick Heal Total Security must be registered after installation. We recommend registering your product immediately after installation to receive regular database updates and access technical support. If the product is not updated regularly, it cannot protect your Mac against new threats.
Registering Online
To register Quick Heal Total Security online, follow these steps:
- Go to Application > Quick Heal Total Security.
- On the Quick Heal Total Security Dashboard, click Register Now. Alternatively, go to Menu > Help > Activation.
- In the Registration Wizard, enter the 20-digit Product Key and click Continue.
The Registration Information screen appears.
- Enter the relevant information in the Purchased From and Register for fields. You can also enter the Dealer Code (optional) and Bag Engineer Code (optional). Click Continue.
- Enter the relevant information in the Name, Email Address, and Contact Number fields. Select your Country, State, and City from the respective lists.
If your State/Province or City is not available in the list, enter it in the respective field and click Continue.
A confirmation screen displays the details you entered. If you need to make any changes, click Go Back to return to the previous screen and update the information. Then, click Continue.
Your product is activated successfully, and the license expiry date is displayed.
- Click Finish to close the Registration Wizard.
Registering Offline
- On the Registration screen, click Register Offline.
- On the Offline Activation screen, visit https://www.quickheal.com/actinfo.htm and complete the offline activation form.
- Use the Installation number displayed on the Offline Activation screen to complete the form. You can click Copy to pasteboard to copy the Installation number.
- After submitting the form, you will receive a license key file. Click Browse and select the license key file.
- Click Next to complete the offline registration process.
Re-activation
Re-activation allows you to continue using the product until your license expires. It is useful if you format your Mac and remove all software, or if you want to install Quick Heal Total Security on another machine. In such cases, you need to reinstall and re-activate Quick Heal Total Security.
The re-activation process is similar to the initial activation process, but you do not need to enter all your personal details again. After you submit the Product Key, your existing details are displayed. Verify the information and complete the process.
Renewal
You can renew your product license by purchasing a renewal code when your license expires. However, we recommend renewing your license before it expires to avoid any interruption in protection. You can obtain a renewal code from Quick Heal or your nearest distributor or reseller.
Renewing Online
To renew your Quick Heal Total Security license online, follow these steps:
- Go to Quick Heal Total Security > Menu > Quick Heal Total Security > About Quick Heal Total Security.
- On the About Quick Heal Total Security screen, click Renew Now.
If your license is about to expire or has already expired, the Renew Now button is also displayed on the Dashboard. Click it to go to the activation page.
- Select I want to renew with renewal code. I already have renewal code with me, and then click Next.
- On the Registration Information screen, enter the relevant information in the Purchased From, Email Address, and Contact Number fields. You can also enter the Dealer Code (optional) and Bag Engineer Code (optional). Click Continue.
Your current and new license expiry dates are displayed for confirmation.
- Click Next.
Your Quick Heal Total Security license is renewed successfully.
- Click Finish to complete the renewal process.
Additional information
- If you do not have a renewal code, select I do not have renewal code with me. I want to purchase renewal code online, and then click Buy Now.
- If you have already renewed your license but the expiry date has not been extended, select I have already renewed my license. Please update my license from server, and then click Next.
- If you have purchased an additional renewal code, you can renew your license only after 10 days from the current renewal.
Renewing Offline
If your Mac is not connected to the Internet, you can renew your product without an Internet connection.
- On the Registration screen, click Renew Offline.
- On the Offline Renewal screen, visit https://www.quickheal.com/offline_renewal and complete the offline renewal form.
- Use the Product Key and Installation number displayed on the Offline Renewal screen to complete the form. You can click Copy to pasteboard to copy the information.
- After submitting the form, you will receive a license key file. Click Browse and select the license key file.
- Click Continue to complete the offline renewal process.
