Introduction

You can use product coupons to offer customer a discounts on Quick Heal products. When customers enter the coupon code at checkout while doing an in-app purchase, the coupon when applied reduces the final price of the product being purchased. In the CRW portal, the admin can enter various coupons and related rules as decided by the product management and stakeholders from time to time. You (admin) can offer discounts based on coupons to the customers purchasing Quick Heal products through the app and on the website.

Coupons

After creating a coupon rule, we need to create a coupon and map it with that rule. The coupon is displayed/available in the app during the purchase flow based on the conditions in the mapped coupon rule.

Creating Coupon

To create a coupon, follow these steps:

  1. Click Coupons tab and click Add Coupon.
You are redirected to the Add Coupon page.

  2. Enter the Coupon Name and the Coupon Code. The coupon name should be unique. The Coupon Code will be displayed in the drop-down list on the app.

  3. Select the Usage Count as fixed or unlimited as required for the coupon.

  4. Enter the Fixed Count in numbers if usage count is selected as fixed.
If the Usage Count is selected as unlimited, then the Fixed Count option is greyed out.
Unlimited option indicates that the coupon can be used ā€˜nā€™ number of times by ā€˜nā€™ number of users.

The fixed option if selected will limit the usage of the coupon to the number specified.

    In the displayed list,

    • The Total Count field reflects the number specified for the fixed option.
    • The Used Count field reflects the number of times the coupon is used.
    • The Status field is marked Invalid when value of Total Count equals the value of Used Count.
    • If the expiry date of the coupon has passed, the Status field is marked Expired.
    • Invalid and expired status indicates that the coupon will not be available to the end user customer.
  1. Select the Discount Type as Percent or Flat as required.
    a. Enter the Discount Value (between 1 to 100) in percentage if Percent option is selected.
    b. Enter the Discount Value in numbers if Flat option is selected.

  1. Click Save. The coupon is saved and needs to be sent for approval to the Super admin.

The status of the coupon is displayed as Pending Approval.
Note: Admin cannot self-approve the coupon. Only the Super admin can approve the coupon.

Next steps for activating Coupon

  1. Super Admin will approve the coupon by clicking Approve. After approval the coupon status is changed to Pending Publish in the displayed list.

  2. Next, the Super Admin will click Publish to complete the coupon creation process. Only after publishing the coupon, it is visible for the end users in the app purchase flow.
