Dark Web Monitoring

The dark web is a hidden part of the internet where stolen data is often sold. Quick Heal helps protect you by scanning these places for your personal info. We scan only the information you choose to monitor.
You are always in control and can update or remove this data anytime.

Stay informed when your personal data is compromised

If a website, social media platform, or app you use online is hacked, your personal information, such as usernames, passwords, phone numbers, or government ID details may be leaked on the dark web. Dark Web Monitoring helps you stay a step ahead by scanning for such leaks and notifying you if your data is exposed.

What it does

When you activate Quick Heal, Dark Web Monitoring automatically checks the email address and phone number you registered with for any known data leaks. You can have up to 5 email addresses and 2 phone numbers to monitor for leaks. Refer to the steps outlined in the subsequent Edit Monitoring Info section to complete the process.

The app scans these identifiers every 14 days, helping you detect and respond to leaks early. For on-demand checks, you can simply navigate to AntiFraud > Dark Web Monitoring on the Quick Heal console, and it runs a fresh scan. If any leak is detected, you will receive a detailed report that includes:

  • Date of the leak
  • Type of data compromised (such as Email, Password, Aadhaar, PAN, Passport details)
  • Platform where the leak occurred
  • Severity of the incident

You can take appropriate steps to secure your account and then click Mark As Resolved once you have addressed the issue.
